Today they posted the list of art collages that are coming for Third Coast week. Out of the 20+ collages that are coming, only one declined to actually come. CalArts. The one that I was really excited for. FFFFUUUUU-

Kinda bummed. Oh well, there's next year...hopefully.

Also, after sitting in an art school for the past two years, I've become immune to critique and I'm used to the nagging from everyone on my body of work. Today while one of my teachers was talking to me about my drawing project, she tells me that my method of inking makes everything looked traced and that I need to loosen up. I agreed and was like:

"Yeah, I'll do that." 

"Never gonna give you up."

Random update journal. I should post some art or something.

Anyways, summer has been very mind scattering, even tho I spent the whole first month at a school I don't even go to. Not much exciting shit has happened other than hanging out with the same people for long periods of time and RHPS. Good thing is that I get to leave Houston for the weekend with einahsketch  and apple_rocket  to go  ride around a ranch on a golf cart while screaming "EMMET EMMET EMMET"

Well, I have like two or three journals to fill with art and concept designs for next year that have to be done in less than two weeks. Oh and I also have a book to read and take notes on. I have close to nothing done in the journals and don't have the book.  LOL I'M SCREWED.

Nah, not really. I'll figure some way to bullshit my way into having stuff done, I always do.

Oh and as for that STRP sketch dump thing I was talking about, it's prolly not gonna happen because I think I managed to throw away the pile of papers everything was in. Yay for cleaning.

First off, I've decided to actually start posting shit sporadically here. Be prepared.

The past few days have been awesome, actually. Went on a field trip to Austin with my schools entire art dept on Friday. It was pretty damn cool. Spent the night hanging out with my friend Sarah. Also pretty damn cool.

Yesterday wasn't really exciting, but I did have a large wave of inspiration crash into me. It's invigorating.

BUT TODAY HAS JUST BEEN AWESOME. ( VENTURE BROTHERS AND DINOSAURSSSSS. )

-Harry Potter 1-7 that I glued together to make one giant book

I haven't used this live journal thing in months.
I decided to tidy it up a bit, make it presentable.
Just looking out for a few other blogs.

Doubt I'll update this much, but if I do, it'll probably be filled with random rambling or a sketch doodle thing.
